Attendance policy is kinda strict, but this guy puts a real effort to teach his students. He is kinda good guy, kisi ko embarrass or humiliate nhi kerte, he actually encourages students agar unko kuch na bhi ata ho, his OG dialogue is "zyada se zyada ap galat kero ge na to hum usko theek ker lenge but promise me you guys wouldn't use AI". I may titled him Hitler for AI. But sir g ap great ho😭

Only Attended 5 classes this semester but I really like the way he puts so much efforts in. Alot of people get annoyed how he made them resubmit assignments and how he divided an assignment into 4 parts but honestly given the weekly deadline, it makes everything alot more manageable and we actually learn stuff. He puts alot of effort into his students and I really liked his energy and teaching style. People get weirded out how he immediately checks and asks for resubmission of assignments but honestly it shows some insane dedication

Overall good person, one of the rare teachers in SEECS who actually seems to put effort to help students personally. Chill to talk to outside class as well and is v polite with students. However, will put extreme and unnecesary pressure on students, huge amounts of work in assignments, labs, projects, demos, vivas etc, which is more or less pointless as grading is also harsh. End of the day, hes a good person who you can go for help anytime, but inka course parhna aur decent grade lena is azaab.

sir, zara haath halka karein please. you made the dv course difficult without any reason, jab ke honestly mujhe poora yaqeen hai ke main zindagi mein dv techniques use nahi karoon ga because i will never be a data analyst. He is a nice guy, very accomodating, like he is the kind of teacher u go to ask any kind of problem and he'll listen to it patiently and guide u. The problem that he's got is that ky ye coursework mai bhut marta hai, bhut zyada parhata hai, takes assignments seriously like he literally reads each assignment checks it for plagiarism and then gives u a review on that. In short he takes his teaching job too seriously and works really hard thus expecting u to work even harder. Well this sounds good ky aik teacher hai shi trah cheezain prha rha hai but the thing is he doesn't offer resources of that quality like the slides he makes are not good and jb ap paper sy pehly wo daikhty tu wo krky apsy inka paper attempt nhi hoga, he offers a question practise class before mids and finals so that can be helpful. Inka lecture attend krna zarori hai but he takes too much energy and yeah paper bhi difficult bnata hai. He is not like the usual seecs teachers, he interacts with students, never minds anything, kela nhi khata but apki marta bhi utni hi hai. Update: After seeing him teach another semester and a new subject for a few weeks more things are to be said about him. - Still is as horrible as stated previously. - Is unreasonably fixated on the time of arrival and attendance. We have seen even the most stubborn of people (Junaid Younas) mend their ways, this one seems to lack the ability. - Can't detect AI aided work as he claims even if his life depended on it, just guesses at best and thus issues baseless re submissions on the basis of his flawed judgements upon suspected AI use. Unfair and immoral. Delusions on his abilities are a recurring theme. - Wrongly believes that he can teach students anything of substance. Wrongly has the conception of himself demonstrating virtuous characteristics which are to be adopted. Nevertheless, credit where it is due, he is an excellent demonstration of what not to be. - The unjustified and baseless superiority he assumes, part of which moral, the delusions of competency and the manner in which he has his own head up his ass. There is a significant gap between what he thinks of himself to be and what is demonstrated by his actions. Absolutely unbearable. - One has to develop a remarkable issue through the course of one's life or have fallen on the head as an infant to be what he has managed to be. He seems to get pleasure from what he inflicts upon the students. He is a sadist posing as a teacher. His calling is not of a teacher but rather of the treadmill. - When the semester starts, he will pose as someone with a genuine and heartwarming concern for your betterment but it's all BS. Doesn't deem any other activity, academic or not, besides his own course of importance. Doesn't teach anything of substance to justify the time given to his course. Will promise you a lot and deliver none of it. Chai bhi ni pilai. Fraud. - Will grossly overstate the importance of the subject he teaches and his ability to teach said subject. Dead simple topics are convoluted just for the sake of convulsing them. Repeats the same jargon over and over again. Accepts nothing else as valid besides what he said verbatim and seems unaware of the existence of synonyms. Any course he touches, he ruins it. Some stories regarding him (No claim of total truthfulness, based only on what was propagated by students to each other, some narrated by himself): - Shot a pet cat with a shotgun because it ate a pet rabbit. A predator is supposed to prey on prey? He wouldn't know that tho. - Boasts about how he didn't accept some high profile project due to it not having documentation. Yea right. - Boasted about how he completed some high profile project in a weekend whilst putting down the student's abilities portraying them as incompetent. He can always stop teaching us and do this full time I wouldn't stop him - Vapes, with a purple vape, tasteless individual if true. - Claims we will come back to thank him for what he taught us. I just don't think that's happening. - Claims himself to be exceptionally competent, so much so that he deserves to be called to talk at seminars regarding software engineering. Delusional and mistaken. - Called multiple students in his office for being late to the class and bashed them about it for half an hour at least. Said to a student that even if you die get a friend to bring your dead body to my class for attendance. Who tf does he think he is. I'm sure I missed a few stories. The point was to demonstrate how his actions go against his words and the persona he poses as. There is clear opposition in how he acts and what he pretends to be. His true self and intentions are betrayed by his actions and slight slips, he only lives and acts for his own self, there is no self-sacrificing hero within. Just another useless and self-obsessed idiot and con man along with a severe case of close mindedness making him immune to improvement. Behind the facade there is just a plain bad person. Actively tricks people to think good of him and thus is the most harmful type of evil one can encounter. If he persists in his methods, a resignation from teaching would be the only good thing he can do for students. The course he teaches will be much better without him. Also he reads trash books.
